Taurex operates via two main entities under the Zenfinex umbrella: Zenfinex Limited, regulated by the highly respected Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK, and Zenfinex Global Limited, regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in Seychelles.
This dual regulation offers different environments. Clients under the FCA (UK) benefit from stringent oversight, NBP (negative balance protection), segregated funds, and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) providing protection up to £85,000 if the firm fails. However, leverage is limited (typically 1:30 for retail). Clients under the FSA (Seychelles) can access much higher leverage (up to 1:1000) but do not receive FSCS protection and operate under a less strict regulatory framework.
