Rule Value Details
EA Usage Allowed EAs are permitted. TradeLocker offers API and AI solutions for creating custom bots.
Overnight and Weekend Holding Restricted Not permitted for Fast Track (One-Phase) & Regular (Two-Phase) Challenges; trading is disabled on Fridays at 20:00 UTC, and all open trades are automatically closed. Permitted for Swing Challenges, but be aware of market opening rules/breaks, especially for cryptocurrencies.
Copy Trading Allowed (with restrictions) Copy trading and copying signals are permitted only between accounts owned by the same individual. Copying between accounts belonging to different individuals is not allowed.
Trading Strategies Some Allowed, Some Restricted Martingale is allowed. Hedging is allowed within the same account but prohibited across multiple accounts. Scalping is allowed. HFT is permitted in principle but currently limited by platform capabilities.
Inactivity Not Allowed (30-day rule) Funded Account Challenges will be automatically failed after 30 consecutive days of inactivity. No renewal or refund is possible.
News Trading Restricted (Varies by Account Type) Permitted for Swing Accounts. Prohibited for Fast Track and Regular Challenges. A two-minute restriction before and after specific high-impact news events applies to all account types. All positions must be closed two hours before the market closes.
IP Address/VPN/VPS Allowed (with restrictions) VPNs and VPSs are permitted, but they cannot be used to connect from restricted countries.
Prohibited Trading Practices/Gambling Policy Not Allowed Wrongful or fraudulent use of hedging strategies (holding opposite positions in different accounts either alone or with other traders) is strictly prohibited.
Trading Period Unlimited Traders have unlimited days to complete the challenges.
Minimum Trading Days None There are 0 days required to be traded for a trader to pass their challenge.
Misc. Rules Various No minimum trade duration. Scalping is allowed. Funder Pro is not responsible for slippage.
