White House reportedly begins review on plans for second round of mass layoffs

It is being reported that White House officials are in the midst of reviewing federal agencies' downsizing plans and that will result in a mass firing of thousands of government workers within the coming weeks.

The review is of course being led by Elon Musk's DOGE team and and while the source says that "we're going to take our time", it also means "we're not combing through every document". No deadline has been set for when the review will be completed but one the sources said that the entire process could be finalised by the end of September.
