Denis Kiselev has stepped down from his role as Chief Product Officer at Spotware Systems, the provider of cTrader, after more than a year, Finance Magnates has learned exclusively. He joined the technology provider in January 2024.

Played a Key Role in cTrader Development

At Spotware, he led product strategy and development for cTrader, a popular third-party trading platform used by dozens of retail brokers. According to the company, cTrader handles over $20 billion in daily trading volume.

Kiselev also revealed to Finance Magnates that he managed a team of more than 100 professionals across product development, UX/UI, and engineering divisions at Spotware.

Meanwhile, it remains unclear where he will move next. Spotware has yet to announce Kiselev’s replacement.

A Tech Expert in the Brokerage Industry

According to his LinkedIn profile, Kiselev has had a long career in the retail trading industry, working with both technology providers and brokers. Before joining Spotware, he was the Chief Product Officer at Limassol-based ArmenoTech, which also provides technology to trading industry players.

He started his career at the Moscow office of Alpari, the brokerage brand of Andrey Dashin. He joined as the Head of Web Development and was later promoted to Head of the Investment Technologies Division. He was also the VP of Products at Exinity, which is part of Dashin’s business empire. He later moved to FXTM, another brand owned by Dashin, as Head of Product and worked there until late 2022.

After his tenure at FXTM, Kiselev also ran his own startup for three years, a web portal focused on cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and the decentralised economy (DeFi).
