Rule Value Details
EA Usage Allowed (with restrictions) Allowed only on 2-Phase Challenge accounts with the 'EA's Allowed' Add-on. Prohibited: Signal trading/account management via copy trader, HFT, data feed manipulation, tick scalping, latency/reverse/hedge arbitrage, and emulators.
Overnight and Weekend Holding Allowed You are welcome to hold trades overnight and over the weekends on all challenges. Be aware of the risks associated with market gaps when trading pairs that do not stay open during the weekend.
Copy Trading Allowed (with restrictions) Allowed on 2-Phase Challenge accounts with the Add-on. Not allowed on 1-Phase Challenge accounts. Copy trading using accounts registered under a different identity is prohibited.
Trading Strategies Some Allowed, Some Restricted Martingale is prohibited. Tick scalping is prohibited. General scalping is not explicitly prohibited, but trade duration for a majority of trades is expected to be at least 1-2 minutes. Hedging is allowed within a single account but prohibited between accounts. HFT is prohibited.
Inactivity Not Allowed (60-day rule) TopTier Challenge and Funded accounts are automatically disabled after 60 days of inactivity from the date of issue (purchase date). Log into your account at least once every 60 days.
News Trading Restricted (Varies by Account Type) Allowed throughout all stages with the News Trading Add-on. Prohibited on Addons Challenges without the add-on. Allowed on Regular and Swing Accounts during the Challenge Phase, but not allowed during the Funded Phase. Plus Model: The news restriction rule does not apply.
