Shenzhen is relaxing its housing provident fund loan policies to stimulate the property market.

  • from March 24
  • maximum mortgage loan amount available through the fund will increase by 20% for individuals (to 600,000 yuan) and 22.2% for families (to 1.1 million yuan).
  • first-time homebuyers can now borrow 40% more from the fund, up from 20%
  • families with two or more children will see a 50% increase in their borrowing limit
