Eurostoxx futures +0.4% in early European trading
- German DAX futures +0.4%
- French CAC 40 futures +0.3%
- UK FTSE futures +0.2%
This fits with the slight bounce in US futures as well, with S&P 500 futures seen up 0.5% currently. Not to spoil the mood, but it is still very much early in the day to recognise this as a meaningful bounce/rebound. We've seen too many a time already this week how things quickly turn for the worse when Wall Street enters the fray. Today is not likely to be much different with trade jitters persisting and risk sentiment still in a fragile spot. Even if we might end the day with slight gains, it wouldn't be surprising to see this early advance wiped out at some point during the day at least. And on the week itself, it's been a real rough one for stocks in general.
