Spreads

AMarkets offers investors industry-leading pricing, and competitive trading spreads across several asset classes, with a highlight on forex instruments. For the most traded pair, the EUR/USD, the Standard account spread with AMarkets is 1.3 pip (average 1.4 pip), commission-free. Things improve much more with the ECN account. Again, for the EUR/USD, the starting spread is 0.1 pip, with an average of 0.4 pip, and an unbeatably low trading commission of just $5.00 per traded lot ($2.5 per side).

For the EUR/USD, with a 0.4 pip average spread and a trading commission of just 5 USD (the equivalent to 0.5 pip, totalling 0.9 pip trading cost), we can compare how AMarkets priced its ECN account to beat the competition. The broker positions its pricing (a well-deserved 5 stars), to be a serious contender with other top brokers offering ECN trading models, that normally charge 7 USD commissions per traded lot (plus spread, of course).

But AMarkets isn't just offering competitive spreads on FX trading! Investors can also trade Gold/USD with an average spread of 0.26, Sugar CFDs with an average spread of 0.03, Brent and WTI also with an average spread of 0.03 and Apple with an average spread of 0.04.

Rollover Rates

AMarkets swap rates, as of 10-12-2021, for 1 lot EUR/USD (100,000 units) stands at an average rate of -8.40105 pips for holding overnight a long 1 lot contract and at +0.11745 pips for holding overnight a short 1 lot contract. We consider AMarkets swap rates to be average when compared with the rollover rates offered by other top Forex brokers.

In just over 10 years of activity in the financial markets, AMarkets has earned the trust of several thousand customers around the world (500,000 according to its website) because it is a real alternative to other top brokers, not only for its competitive trading costs but also for the excellent ECN trading environment and reliable execution model.

Overall, on our AMarkets review, the broker scores 3.4 out of 5.0 as it is a great choice for traders looking to diversify their financial portfolio with a great range of hand-picked instruments, but, mainly, because of the broker's competitive pricing and fast execution speeds. Slightly affecting AMarkets overall score is its choice of the financial regulator, the SVG FSA, which might scare off some traders, as the nation-island is still to implement stronger regulations regarding retail traders protection. Still, despite these less positive factors, AMarkets seems to be a very popular CFDs broker with traders in the Southeast Asian region, and for its attractive trading bonuses and promotions.
