Rule Value Details
EA Usage Restricted The use of publicly available third-party EAs is restricted.
Overnight and Weekend Holding Allowed (with exceptions) Holding positions overnight is permissible. Holding over the weekend is enabled for phases one and two of all challenges and accounts with the major news trading add-on.
Copy Trading Allowed (with restrictions) Copying trades from accounts not owned by the trader is not allowed. Copy trading is permitted between a trader's own accounts, whether they are with prop firms or retail brokers.
Trading Strategies Some Allowed, Some Restricted Martingale, HFT (holding trades for 60 seconds or less), grid trading, and one-sided bets are prohibited. Hedging within the same account is permitted, but reverse trading across multiple accounts and group hedging are prohibited.
Inactivity Not Allowed (60-day rule) The maximum period of inactivity is 60 days.
News Trading Restricted (Funded Accounts) Allowed on challenge accounts. Only permitted on funded accounts with the "Major News Trading" add-on. An 8-minute restriction window (4 minutes before and after) is enforced around major economic events. Restrictions only apply to instruments directly affected by the news event. "All Day" red folder events are excluded. News straddling and bracketing are not permitted.
IP Address/VPN/VPS Consistency Required For KYC purposes, traders are to maintain IP consistency. If the trading IP location does not match the KYC IP location, the trader may be asked to verify this via travel documentation.
Prohibited Trading Practices/Gambling Policy Not Allowed Prohibited practices include gambling and overleveraging (using more than 50% of the account's margin), major news trading without the add-on, copy trading between unrelated accounts, reverse trading, group hedging, group copying/account management, account churning, exploiting system glitches or inefficiencies, unethical trading practices, HFT, and high-risk or speculative practices like martingale, one-sided bets, grid trading, and overleveraging.
Trading Period Unlimited There are no limits on any program they offer. The traders are given the freedom to trade for however long necessary.
Minimum Trading Days Varies by Program There are no minimum trading days for the instant challenge. As for one and two-phase challenges, there's a minimum of 3 trading days.
