Yes It's like a battle ground where people with money risk their money for more money trying to prove they can outsmart the next person and take his money. So when person A takes a loss, it's because person B outsmarted him and took his money and vice versa. Now in a bearish market, the bears outsmart the bulls and take their money while the opposite is true in a bullish market. We're at war, the institutions with high capital that can inject huge volume into the market to push the market to whatever direction they so wish, have given themselves an advantage that regular retail traders like us don't have. Infact, the financial market as I explained in the first paragraph, is a battle field for institutional traders/investors, hedge funds etc. We retail traders trading technical analysis which kinda shows the footprint of this big players are insignificant to them only on certain occasions
